The beauty and honesty in your words frequently brings me to tears. But they aren’t tears of sadness, they are tears of hope because that’s what I feel in your writing. Keep writing. 💜

I felt your despair and then the elation of acceptance!! You are an eloquent writer. I am an avid reader and when I can’t wait to read more I know I am following a good author. That is you Kate. In addition your transparency makes me sad but it is so important for your platform!! Thank you BEAUTIFUL human!!

Your writing is so beautiful. I feel your despair and your hope. You are truly a Beautiful Human. I have tried to live my life with the belief that it only takes one person’s kindness, assistance, compassion, or whatever the situation calls for to make a difference in another person’s life. We are here to be that person and make that difference. ❤️❤️

It is the greatest gift to be seen as you are, nothing more or less, just as yourself. I agree.

Gorgeously raw and real. Thank you. Your words always bring my mind clarity. And your definition of beauty I will share with my students. And that we all need to have “ a celebration of one’s innate humanity in all its colors and seasons”💜💜💜💜

You had me till that second to last sentence. I feel the other shoe about to drop. As always, you bring the raw honesty to the table. What a struggle you have been through, and continue to go through. You are a phoenix kate. You rise above the ashes!

So well written. I felt such hope and happiness for you, though I’m dreading what’s to come on that voicemail. But I’ll be here to read it!

I didn’t realise the same happens in mental health as it does with chronic pain. The shrug of ‘there’s nothing we can do’ is soul destroying. It’s also why I stood up walked out, lost my shit in the car and went there has to be more. I wonder what happens to those who receive that news and don’t end up like us.

So glad someone called you back! I am worried that you said her voicemail still haunts you, I hope that something bad doesn’t happen there. As always, your writing is amazing Kate, I feel like I’m there with you in your story. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to listen to the podcast!!!! Much love 💕
