Join us today at 1 pm ET! Healing Out Loud Together
Free and open to all. Everything you need to join inside
Today is the day! This afternoon, at 1 pm ET, we gather for Healing Out Loud Together.
This is our community gathering devoted to storytelling and holding kind space. The prompts this week will focus on survival care in the face of the holidays and as always, it is free, open to everyone and there is no requirement to share or even have your video on. When we do it, it is always the highlight of my week, so I hope you can join us to partake in its magic!
How Healing Out Loud Together works:
We spend the first fifteen minutes writing together — free-write or with the prompts provided.
We spend the remainder of the time sharing our stories and holding loving space for them.
Sharing is not required whatsoever. Nor is being on audio or video.
Healing Out Loud Together is free and open to everyone.
The gathering is hosted on Zoom.
By joining us, you are agreeing to the community guidelines laid out below.

Community Guidelines
Your well-being is the most important thing. If at any time this space does not empower it, please choose you first.
Kindness first and always.
Hate speech, bullying, racism, stigma, body shaming, and any threatening language whatsoever will result in an automatic blocking from this space.
No advice. Whatsoever, regardless of intent. A story is a window that has been bravely opened for the sake of solidarity and community but do not confuse a glimpse inside for an understanding of a whole lived experience or a request for unsolicited recommendations.
If you feel inclined to share a comment or personal solidarity story in response to something you read in the allotted time after the story sharing, please do. Our only request is that you practice compassion in all you share and express here. And again, no advice.
Honesty always. In order to heal, we must be honest.
No recording. WHATSOEVER. Doing so will result in an automatic blocking from this space. It violates state law.
This is a solidarity group — a support group that honors each other and our lived experiences. This space is a complement to treatment not a replacement for it. Please do not confuse the two and visit Project Healthy Minds Resource round-up if you are seeking treatment but have yet to access it or are yet to be able to do so.
You can join with or without video. We encourage video as it empowers healing, but we absolutely respect and support joining without turning your video on.
One more time for the people in the back. Your well-being is the most important thing. If at any time this space does not empower it, please choose you first.
I am so glad you are here.
We hope to see you there AND no matter what,
We send love — so much love — and wish you a day!
Kindly,
Kate, Waffle, and Tugboat
Is this going to be a regular get together and if so, how, when can one join in?
Love this idea. So important.
